New polls with seat projections suggest RN is getting closer to the majority threshold in France, but a hung parliament remains the most plausible outcome. France back under EDP is a reminder that fiscal space is non-existent. Using up domestic banks to absorb large public debt supply can be tempting but is ultimately economically toxic as it crowds out private sector funding.
